Terms of service
Last updated 30 July 2026
These terms form the agreement between you and CFX Holding Limited, a licensed entity registered in Malta with its registered office at Vault 14, Level 2, Valletta Waterfront, Floriana, when you open an account, use the CFX Markets platform, or access this website. By using our services you confirm that you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the services.
1. Eligibility
You may only open an account if you are at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity, and are not resident in a jurisdiction where our services may not lawfully be offered. We may decline any application at our discretion and are not obliged to give reasons.
You confirm that you act on your own behalf, that the funds you deposit are your own and lawfully obtained, and that you are not subject to sanctions or listed on any applicable restricted party list.
2. Account opening and verification
Before you can trade with real funds we must verify your identity, address and source of funds. We may request additional information or documents at any time, and we may suspend access to your account until verification is complete.
You are responsible for keeping the information on your account accurate and up to date, and for notifying us promptly of any change to your circumstances.
3. The services we provide
We provide an execution only trading service. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we do not provide investment advice, portfolio management, or tax advice, and no communication from us should be treated as a personal recommendation.
Where the platform provides research, market commentary, automated analysis or signals, including output produced by our AI features, that material is general information only. Decisions you take remain your own, and any automated execution you enable operates within limits that you configure.
4. Orders and execution
Orders are accepted only through the platform and only when your account holds sufficient margin. We may reject, cancel or close an order where required by law, where a market is disrupted or halted, where pricing is manifestly erroneous, or where you breach these terms.
Prices shown on the platform are indicative until an order is executed. Market conditions may cause execution at a price different from the price displayed.
5. Leverage, margin and liquidation
Leveraged products require you to maintain margin. If your account equity falls below the required margin level, positions may be reduced or closed without prior notice in order to protect your account.
You are responsible for monitoring your positions and margin at all times. Negative balance protection applies to retail accounts, so you never owe more than the funds you have deposited.
6. Fees and costs
Applicable spreads, commissions, financing charges and any other costs are published on the platform and in your account documentation before you place an order. We may change our fees, and we will give reasonable notice of any change that affects you.
7. Deposits and withdrawals
Client money is held in segregated accounts and is never used to fund our own operations. Deposits and withdrawals must be made in your own name using a payment method that we accept.
We may delay or refuse a withdrawal where verification is incomplete, where we are required to do so by law, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or market abuse.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Market abuse, manipulation, or trading on the basis of inside information.
- Abusive strategies that exploit latency, pricing errors, or platform malfunctions.
- Sharing account credentials, or allowing a third party to trade your account without our written consent.
- Using the services for money laundering, terrorist financing, tax evasion, or any other unlawful purpose.
- Interfering with the platform, including unauthorised automated access, scraping, or attempts to bypass rate limits.
9. Availability and platform risk
We aim to keep the platform available at all times but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third party failures, connectivity problems and events outside our control may interrupt the service.
You should maintain an alternative means of contacting us so that you can manage positions if you cannot access the platform.
10. Liability
We are liable to you for losses caused by our own negligence, wilful default or fraud. We are not liable for market losses, for losses caused by your own decisions, or for indirect or consequential losses, to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Suspension and closure
You may close your account at any time once all positions are closed and any amounts owed have been settled. We may suspend or close your account where you breach these terms, where we are required to do so by law, or on reasonable notice where we withdraw a product or service.
12. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms to reflect changes in law, regulation, our products, or our operations. We will publish the updated version on this page and, where the change is material, notify you before it takes effect.
